![]() ![]() On 18 July 2014, the team walked up to the New York Stock Exchange, dressed in Globant green for the company’s IPO. Globant was born through Guibert and his co-founders’ vision that technology development can be done anywhere in the world, a vision that has propelled them to incorporate diverse talent to create innovative solutions for the world’s top brands. In addition, as President of Latam he ensures corporate governance and drives our regional expansion and industry leadership. As President of Globant X, Guibert helps lead the success of these initiatives focused on analyzing new revenue models and allowing us to continue to innovate. Prior to co-founding Globant, he had already started six different companies, bringing with him the experience of learnings and failures therein. He has been programming since he was 12 years old and creating everything from video games to home tech solutions. ![]() Martín holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from La Plata University and a Master degree in Business Administration from CEMA University.Įntrepreneurship is in Guibert’s DNA. He co-authored two book entitled “The Never Ending Digital Journey” and “Embracing the power of AI” where he shares his thoughts on how technologies are changing the world and how brands need to adapt to lead this revolution. He is a member of the Young President´s Organization (YPO), a Board Member of Endeavor Argentina, member of AEA, member of Argentina’s Production Council and was recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young (2013). ![]() In 2011, Latin Trade has also recognized Martin as Emerging CEO of the Year. He was selected as one the Argentinean Creative of 2009 (Círculo de Creativos de la Argentina). ![]() Martín was selected Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005 and has won a Konex Award as one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of 2008. It was recognized as one of the top 10 innovative companies in South America by Fast Company and was named as a worldwide leader in Digital Strategy and Agency Service by IDC MarketScape (20). Globant has become the first software development company from Latin America to do an IPO on the NYSE, in 2014. Harvard and Stanford also wrote business cases to study the company. The MIT Sloan School of Management wrote a business case about Globant entitled: “Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America”, and invited Martin to give lectures to their MBA students. Martin is deeply passionate about inspiring future entrepreneurs, that´s why he frequently gives lectures at different events and has been a jury at the Endeavor Entrepreneurs panel and at La Red Innova. Today, Globant is working for world-class customers such as Google, Electronic Arts, Rockwell and Santander, among others. As Globant CEO, Martín drove the company from a small start-up to an organization with more than 27,000 professionals and a presence in more than 25 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Martín has served as Chairman of our board and Chief Executive Officer since 2005. In 2003 he founded Globant together with 3 friends, with the aim of building a Company leader in the creation of innovative software products. Martin has been an entrepreneur since his early youth. ![]()
